Hold Your Nerve as Trollers Gonna Troll
June 21, 2017
The blue bird chatters a lot and sometimes becomes so nasty to be handled with elegance and patience. Do you agree? Oh! You must be wondering which blue bird we are talking about. Twitter, of course. At one time or the other we all have seen an array of spats between people and not denying the fact we ourselves have participated in many of them. The most common victims of the Twitteratis are the celebrities and roasting them up is the former’s favorite pastime. Some of these Twitteratis have also made their way to news headlines (I really wonder how!!! Believe me, I have tried many-a-time but in vain) for their nasty trolls.
Many fraternities have found themselves in the middle of the slugfest of words, but let me tell you, not all can take the sh*t right on their face. Though netizens have trolled many bigwigs, few of the latter ones have smartly come out as the king/queen of wits. So, let’s take a dig on some of the funny Twitter and Instagram wars where the trollers got trolled by the celebs they were making fun of (too much of trolling) (sic):
1. When KRK took a dig at Lisa Haydon
Do I really need to introduce him? He is one of the creepiest and infamous Twitter users who love to ruffle features and invite trouble. Where many celebrities such Big B, Madhuri Dixit chose to ignore his ludicrous, shady and offensive (many-a-times cheap too) tweets, Lisa Haydon decided to give him an apt reply. Here the tweet war goes:
2. AAG v/s Bombay Velvet
Rather than using the name of the directors, I choose their flop movies that escalated this Twitter war. Ram Gopal Verma is famous to pick up war of words with those he doesn’t like and this time he chose Anurag Kashyap by taking reference to his flop film – Bombay Velvet. Let me tell you, Ram Gopal Verma had been panned by many critics for his AAG (remember the movie). Have a look how Anurag in sarcastic yet funny way replied to Ramu:
3. Virat Kohli v/s Abusers
Remember when people were cursing Anushka Sharma for the bad performance of Virat Kohli during matches? Yes, many of them crossed the limits by calling Anushka a bad omen for Virat. Well, it didn’t go well with the Indian Cricket Team captain and he bashed all such trollers by posting this message on his Instagram profile:
4. Abhishek Bachchan and his Selection of Words
Junior Bachchan has always been a soft target for Twitteratis because of his bad choices of movies and not-so-successful carrier but he is very good when it comes to his choice of words. This time a Twitter user went way too far to mock Junior B and tweeted:
But Abhishek took it light-heartedly and here the conversation goes:
Another netizen too took a jibe at Junior Bachchan by involving Aaradhya and Aishwarya in between. This time he gave a befitting reply to let the trollers know that involving family is no good at all:
5. JK Rowling v/s Dumbledore Lover
Harry Potter Series fame author J.K. Rowling became the subject of discussion among Twitteratis when she revealed the sexual orientation of Albus Dumbledore. This is how she handled it smartly:
6. Deepika Padukone v/s TOI
The Indian beauty has recently been slut-shamed by an army of trollers on Instagram over her recent photoshoot for MAXIM after being declared as the ‘Hottest Woman of the Year 2017’. Where people reminded her of the ‘Indian Sanskaars’ and did moral policing to make her realize that she is an Indian and should dress properly (but actually what is properly here? Now are we going to dress according to the will of these morons?), she very smartly and silently give it back to the haters by posting another picture of her in same clothes but different pose.
But this is not the first time Deepika has been targeted, as few years back the leading newspaper of the country – Times of India – stoop down below its level and posted a video showing Deepika’s cleavage. Disgusting it was but the actress’s befitting reply to TOI left everybody speechless. Have a look:
And here is the lame excuse given by this ‘LEADING NEWSPAPER’
7. Shahrukh Khan and his critic fan
Do I really need to say how witty King Khan is? Simply enjoy the humorous tweet:
8. Sonakshi Sinha v/s Body-Shamers
It has now become the trend to body shame an actress if she is a bit healthy or doesn’t have that curvaceous zero-figure body like many models. Sonakshi Sinha too has become its victim many-a-times but this time she decided to give it back to her haters. Enjoy the war:
9. SRK v/s KRK
Yes, you read it right! Kamaal Rashid Khan, the failed actor and director with pathetic choice of movies, tried to make fun of our beloved Badshah of Bollywood – King Khan. Here’s KRK’s tweet:
Pointless to say, the king of wits, who generally prefers turning blind eye to such stupid tweets, reacted strongly giving a nice one on KRK’s face.
Did you notice the number of retweets and likes?
10. Sushma Swaraj & Indian Embassy’s Reach
Our External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is also known for her witty, apt and quick replies on social media platforms and that’s what makes her popular with Twitteratis. Few days back, a Twitter user tweeted her:
Showing her humorous side, Sushma Swaraj gave him a chucklesome reply:
11. Pakistani Cricket Fan v/s ICC
The cricket fever was on its peak when the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 moved towards its final phase. Among all the matches, the best match for us Indians would have been the one where India defeated Pakistan by a huge difference of 124 runs. Many televisions sets have been heard broken in our neighbouring country and many angry Pakistanis took to Twitter and other social media platforms to take out their anger. One such user posted an abusive tweet to ICC:
With this, came the royal shut down of the Pakistani cricket fan. Have a look:
12. PC and her Legs
While making fun, people don’t even bother to look at the achievements of the person they are mocking. Our black beauty, Piggy Chops, recently faced a backlash by social media moral police who criticized her for showing her legs during her meeting with PM Narendra Modi in Berlin. Of course the saviors of Indian culture took this non-sanskaari act offensive and bashed her badly on Instagram and Twitter:
Here are some of the comments:
Ravikumar Narasimhan You don’t know basic courtesy about how to sit in front of Prime minister of India
Rajashekhar Bommanahalli – When our pm sir meeting you u should wear our indian culture dress not a foreign dress learn from our culture then act in films medam
Naveen Prakash – She should not meet to PM like in such dress and the way of sitting. Why and how she can be ur desi girl if adopted all Hollywood culture. This is hurting us really…
Gaurav Singh – Priyanka plz proper dress wear when pm Mr nrendra modi ji meet conference
Rekha Vaidyanathan – Not a skirt fr the day….atleast salwaar as a mark of respect fr the prime minister of our country.
Hingonia Ritvik – on one hand deepika padukone wear saree in large gathering and she do not know what to wear and she even doesn’t know how to sit with Prime minister (one should not cross legs while sitting with important person)
Priyanka Churoria – Priyanka u may b lucky enough to meet d pm..bt pls do maintain ur ethics of dressing…at d day end u r an Indian
Akhil Varma – I don’t like your sitting body language in front of our honourable prime minister
But PC knows how to shut the mouth of such pseudo-teachers. She posted another picture of her legs but this time with a message. Take a look:
